Dot Gibbens is TomTom's mom, whose character inspired her to write her first two children's books. Dot continues to provide compliance consulting to the Finance industry and prior to writing her books, worked as a Registered Financial Professional, supervising both Operations and Compliance departments in an assortment of Broker Dealers. Dot graduated from the University of California, Davis.
